Our class times are: 8:30-10:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.,
2:15-4:15 p.m., 4:30-6:30 p.m., 6:45-8:45 p.m.
2. What is the required dress
in the classroom for teachers? Should I cover my hair? Do I need
business attire?
You don't need any business attire and you don't need to cover
your hair. You just need to be conservative looking and tidy.
3. How often are teachers observed
in class by management?
About once or twice a term.
4. Are teachers paid the same
monthly rate even if the term break falls within that particular
monthly pay period? That is, does the monthly rate decrease
during these times?
You still get paid regularly even during term breaks.
5. Are teachers paid in
Yemeni Rials or US dollars?
In US dollars. The exchange rate is 183 Rials to 1 USD (as of
May 2003).
